There’s something powerful about walking into a home and knowing the floors, beams, or mantel comes from your own property.
Build Your Home Using
Trees From Your Land
We bring a portable sawmill directly to your site, turning cleared timber into high-quality, usable lumber. Instead of paying to remove or burn valuable logs, developers can reduce land clearing costs while maximizing the value of their own resources.
From species like cherry, oak, hickory, pecan, and pine, we transform what would be waste into materials ready for interior and structural use.
With LumberByLance, you’re not adding cost—you’re converting waste into product. We produce on-site lumber for less than $1.50 per board foot across all species, creating a cost-effective alternative to traditional sourcing.
We help developers turn timber from their property into kiln-dried flooring, cabinetry stock, beams, slabs, and architectural features—resulting in homes that feel authentic, distinctive, and immediately more valuable at market.

Why This Matters
By reclaiming usable trees from your own land, you gain access to custom building materials that would otherwise come at a premium through traditional lumber suppliers. The result is a more distinctive, intentional, and high-end product—without increasing your overall costs.
You reduce sourcing expenses while increasing perceived home value. We coordinate closely with planer mills and cabinet manufacturers to transform your rough kiln-dried lumber into finished products such as flooring, V-joint paneling, and cabinet-grade stock. From sawmilling to kiln drying to final milling, we manage the process so materials arrive ready for installation.
Homes built with lumber sourced directly from the land stand apart—and often sell faster. Buyers respond to the authenticity of real wood, especially when it comes from the very property their home is built on. It’s a level of connection that enhances photography, strengthens showings, and drives word-of-mouth interest.
When a buyer learns that their floors, beams, or mantel were crafted from trees on-site, the home carries a story no competing development can replicate.
Using your own timber isn’t just a material choice—it’s a way to preserve part of the land within the home itself. Each floorboard, beam, cabinet panel, or slab becomes part of the property’s legacy, adding meaning and long-term value that buyers recognize.
Without proper kiln drying, your wood risks:
- Cracking
- Warping
- Insect infestation
- Long-term instability
We kiln-dry lumber specifically for interior residen=al use so your wood stays beautiful for decades.
What You Can Create From Your Own Trees
